La Rioja Supper Club

Rioja is located in Northern Spain and is known for its high-quality wines, scenic patchwork of vineyard-covered hills and captivating medieval villages. It is Spain’s most famous wine region. 


Our October supper club is centred around the cuisine of this region. Our menu showcases the most seasonal of ingredients, and local of recipes.


Three courses with pairings for just £60pp.

Where there is great wine, excellent food is always close. The agricultural tradition of Rioja provides many fantastic and high quality products such as olive oil, vegetables, white asparagus, artichokes, “Piquillo” red peppers and many more. With all these excellent products the Riojan gastronomy is extremely rich and diverse.




Chorizo Riojano – chorizo, sautéed potatoes, caramelised onions


Paired with Hacienda El Olmo 2018, Rioja


Bacalao – salt cod, tomato, red wine
Paired with Finca Allende Blanco 2017, Rioja
Carrilleras – pork cheeks, red wine
Faisan en escabeche – pheasant with shaved truffles and escabeche mushrooms
Alubias con esparragos – white beans, piquillo peppers, white asparagus


Paired with Remelluri Reserva 2014, Rioja


Peras a la Riojana – pears cooked in Rioja wine


Paired with Ontañón “Marco Fabio”, Moscatel, Rioja
