VEGAN SPECIALS

Make sure to try one of this month’s vegan specials when you pop into your local Brindisa restaurant, they’re not to be missed.

 

First up are the fabulous albondigas veganas (vegan meatballs) at Brindisa Shoreditch, made with lentils & spinach and smothered in a silky tomato sofrito. The berenjena frita (fried aubergine with agave) at Brindisa Battersea is the perfect balance between healthy and indulgent!

Whilst our favourite vegan special, the calçot con romesco (tempura friend calçots with romesco sauce) is hyper-seasonal and available at every Brindisa restaurant for the duration of the calçot season. If you’re a fan of all things onion (or even if you’re not) and you haven’t tried the Catalan calçots yet, you’re going to want to do so. Once the beautifully charred skin is removed the Catalan onion is much sweeter than a spring onion or leek and oh so juicy. Dip it in the romesco sauce and you’ve got a combination of serious beauty. Vegan tapas is a thing and it’s sure to delight.

Want to take things a bit further – book a table at our Calçotada! A festival dedicated entirely to this humble onion, which can be enjoyed at Brindisa Shoreditch or Brindisa Battersea until the end of March.
